Attention (Nov 15th 2024 - present): Canada Post Strike and Radon Test Kit Shipment

To ensure that your radon test kits are stored appropriately for the duration of the current Canada Post strike, we are temporarily delaying shipments until we are confident your kit can be delivered to you quickly and reliably. Rest assured that kits are ready to be sent out as soon as the strike is resolved.

Understanding Your Radon Test Results

Your Report Will Indicate Your Radon Levels.

What do I do once I receive my results?

The Canadian guideline established by Health Canada for the maximum exposure limit of radon in your home is 200 Bq/m3. Your report will indicate your radon reading under the RADON RESULT column. We’ve included an example report for you to look at. This report will be emailed to you using the email you registered the device with.

How to interpret your results

How do I interpret my results?

If you do not understand or wish for clarification about your reading, please contact us at [email protected]

NOTE: If you did not register the device properly, you will not receive your results from the lab. To ensure you did that correctly, visit this section.

Do I need to retest later on?

Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) certified professionals recommend you retest for radon about every 5 years. However, unless you perform any major home renovation or anything else to change the air dynamics of the home, your radon level should stay the same.
