Attention (Sept 25, 2025 - present): Canada Post Strike.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has initiated strike action. We are temporarily pausing our return process to prevent lost radon results.

As this situation continues to evolve, the Evict Radon National Study continues to take precautionary steps to minimize disruptions caused by any interruptions in postal service. Read more about return shipping here.

Publications from our team and other Canadian radon scientists:

A low radon future for Canada is possible with evidence-based decision-making and interventions made possible by cutting-edge research. The Evict Radon National Study combines citizen science and professional cancer research to build the knowledge needed to reduce radon exposure, and thereby prevent future lung cancers in Canada. Our efforts are designed to encourage as many Canadians as possible to test their home for radon and leverage the resulting information to understand the scale and scope of radon exposure in the modern Canadian built environment.

All of our research strictly adheres to independently approved research ethics board standards and is published following independent, academic peer review, and is released in a free and open-access format available for all.
